Blood pressure
April 9th, 2013
Has anyone noticed a change in their blood pressure after losing weight and exercising?
Have you decreased your blood pressure medication dosage?
Has you come off your blood pressure medication?
I am very interested to know about how you’re benefiting not only on the scales but also how the weight loss and exercise is improving your overall health.

I would be really interested to see the answer to this too, I dont have high blood pressure, but my hubby does, he has type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol and I really want him to feel as amazing as I do so he is finally joining me in the Challenge, I have just taken his before picture and am soooooooooooo excited for him and me and the kids
Deboarah I’m so glad to hear that your husband has also joined the challenge.
I know for a fact that there are contestants who have reduced their blood pressure meds or even stopped them altogether after their weight loss. A young gentleman named David informed us that he lost 36kg in 6 weeks. He stated that 6 weeks into the program his doctor told him that he no longer need the high blood pressure medication, you gain a lot more than the weight loss and that is what I’m trying to get across. Imagine you had your blood pressure under control in just 6 weeks, what an achievement!
